Electronic Resource Trials

This page serves as a way for the Library to receive feedback from you about proposed new products. Budgetary restrictions make it impossible for us to acquire all of the electronic resources that we try out so your input is helpful in determining our priorities.

BrowZine

BrowZine is an iPad application that allows users to read and browse journals electronically in a magazine like format that is optimized for tablet devices. With BrowZine users can create a personal bookshelf of their favorite journals and be alerted when new editions of journals are published. Browzine also works with Zotero, Mendeley and Dropbox. For more information on BrowZine visit: http://thirdiron.com/browzine/ .

Trial Access
To access the trial, please:
• From your iPad, download BrowZine from the App Store and install it.
• When you open BrowZine for the first time, you will see a list of schools, please select "Indiana University Bloomington"; then, enter your Username and Passphrase
• Select the subject areas and start browsing!
If you have previously downloaded BrowZine and have been using our Open Access library, you will first need to log out of that library. To do so, open BrowZine and tap the Settings button at the bottom; in the Settings page, tap the Logout button in the upper right. The list of libraries will appear, please follow the above steps.
