Eugene Atget, Paris 1900, By: Bibliothèque nationale de France

More than four thousand prints accompanied by commentaries and thirty minutes of audio-visuals, offer the opportunity to browse through Atget's æuvre. Thematic albums and research tools allow the viewer to select photos via multi-photo patchwork grids and to appreciate their quality and diversity. Finally, navigation using various interactive maps recreates a visit to the old Paris that Atget himself had observed.

Julião Sarmento

Ambient music that accompanies the book, also titled Julião Sarmento.  Sarmento's work often deals with issues of complex interpersonal relationships and includes themes such as psychological interaction, sensuality, voyeurism and transgression.  These themes are translated through combining painting, drawing, photography, film, and sound.

Professional Manga: Digital Storytelling with Manga Studio EX

CD-ROM includes image collections from all 14 chapters of the book as well as a demo for Manga Studio EX 3.0, graphic software for creating comics.  While there is a new version of this software available now (4.0), it still provides the user with an idea of what the software can do.

Revue Noire

Revue Noire is a contemporary cultural magazine specializing on Africa. Revue Noire was created in Paris, France in 1991.  Published in English and French, the magazine covered varying subjects from art, architecture and photography, to cinema, literature, theatre, fashion, African cities, AIDS and even gastronomy.  The CD’s included were recordings of African musicians.

The Virtual Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. 

See a virtual reconstruction of the Upper Church of the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, in Italy. The reconstruction is a combination of 3D (game engine) modeling and over 4,000 digital images of the Upper Church--all captured prior to the disastrous earthquake of 1997.
