Copyright Information - University of California Press
Mexican Studies is published by University of California Press. The following is a summary of University of California Press’s general policy for depositing scholarly articles from its journals in institutional repositories, such as IU ScholarWorks. Policies for each journal may vary slightly, so it may be necessary to review your author contract for complete details.
Pre-Print (pre-refereeing) – The author may deposit their pre-print manuscript with IU ScholarWorks. The pre-print must clearly state that the article has been accepted for publication in [journal title] and state where (in Caliber) and when it will be published. Once the article is published, the pre-print must be removed and replaced with the post-print.
Post-Print (post-refereeing) – The author may deposit their post-print manuscript with IU ScholarWorks. The publisher-generated PDF may be used and the following Publisher's Statement must be displayed in tandem with posting:
Published as [provide complete bibliographic citation, as appears in the print version of your journal]. © [Year] by [the Regents of the University of California/Sponsoring Society or Association]. Copying and permissions notice: Authorization to copy this content beyond fair use (as specified in Sections 107 and 108 of the U. S. Copyright Law) for internal or personal use, or the internal or personal use of specific clients, is granted by [the Regents of the University of California/on behalf of the Sponsoring Society] for libraries and other users, provided that they are registered with and pay the specified fee via Rightslink® on [Caliber (http://caliber.ucpress.net/)] or directly with the Copyright Clearance Center, http://www.copyright.com.
