Indiana University Faculty, Students, and Staff
All IU Bloomington faculty, students and staff may request that the Libraries obtain materials from other libraries that the IU Bloomington libraries do not own.  To access this service, you must have an IU Bloomington Network ID and password.

Please note that these pages are only for use in obtaining items not available in the IU Bloomington Libraries. To have books owned by an IU library delivered to a campus library near you, use Request Delivery.  To have articles owned only in print on the Bloomington campus delivered to you, use Request Article Delivery

Pick Up My Article
Use this link to connect to the Document Delivery Services web server to read an article you have requested through interlibrary loan.  After logging into the DDS main page, scroll down to section Review Requests and click on button View/Download Electronically Received Articles.  An IU Network ID and password are required to use this service.

Direct Request through WorldCat
The OCLC WorldCat database is a catalog of more than 33 million records from libraries around the world.  Students, faculty and staff of Indiana University Bloomington may request that the libraries borrow materials for them through WorldCat.  An IU Network ID and password are required to use this service.

To request material, click on the title you wish to request to see the Detailed Record, then click on "Request via Interlibrary Loan" under GET THIS ITEM.   Books may be picked up at the Wells Library Customer and Access Services Counter.  Photocopies of journal articles will be posted to the web.  An email notification will be sent to you with instructions to access the articles.
