    This is a full text database of scholarly journals that covers various subject areas in the humanities, social sciences and sciences. To browse Feminist & Women's Studies journal articles select browse from the top of the page and then select by discipline then select Feminist & Women's Studies from the list.

    This database is similar to JSTOR except it more current articles full text from scholarly journals that covers various subject areas in the humanities, social sciences and sciences. To browse Women's Studies journal articles select Browse Journals from the top of the page and then select Browse Journals by Discipline then select Women's Studies from the list.

  • IUCAT - The library's catalog is a great resource for finding primary resources owned by the library.

    • There are different ways to find primary resources in the catalog. One way is to click on Advanced Keyword Search under More IUCAT Searches and then enter "sources or diaries or interviews or journals or personal narratives or correspondence" in the Subject field and "women's studies or feminist" in the Keywords Anywhere field.

      Be sure to limit the library to All Bloomington Libraries to find resources on the Bloomington campus.

    • Many primary resources are on microfilm. To find microfilm use the Keywords Anywhere search in IUCAT. Enter "women's studies or feminist" in one Keywords Anywhere field and select the Keywords Anywhere field from another drop-down menu and enter "microfilm or microfiche".

    This database includes stories, poems, fashion, illustrations and music in popular women's periodical from the 19th Century.

    This resource is a digital archive of over 200 American historical newspapers from the 19th century. It includes major papers as well as publications of minority and social activist groups.

  • Women and Social Movements
    This database is organized around the history of women in social movements in the U.S. between 1600 and 2000. In addition to seaching the the full text of the database it can also be browsed by authors, subjects, sources, and movements.

  • ARTstor
    ARTstor is a digital library of approximately 700,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences.

  • AP Photo Archive
    The Photo Archive is a digital library of the Associated Press' current photos and a selection of pictures from their 50 million image print and negative library. The Photo Archive contains approximately 700,000 photos. Hundreds of new photos enter the database each day from around the world.
