  • MedlinePlus - brings together authoritative information from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations to provide consumer health information
  • Health Source: Consumer Edition - covers information on health-related issues

Journal Literature Indexes

  • CINAHL – index of citations for nursing and allied health
  • EBM Reviews: Cochrane DSR, ACP Journal Club, and DARE - multifile database that allows you to search simultaneously the three Evidence Based Medicine Reviews databases
  • PubMed - provides access to bibliographic information that includes MEDLINE
  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition - provides nearly 520 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines
