Below is a list of digital libraries that contain historical primary source materials which have been digitized and made accessible for individuals. These resources include photographs, manuscripts and other useful research tools for understanding fashion and design from a historical perspective.
The Library of Congress has developed a portal to digitized primary source materials including but not limited to photographs, manuscripts, sound recordings and moving images relating to American history.
