Folklore

Pertains to the exploration of people's use of tradition in daily life as well as during times of crisis, celebration, and change. Combining the perspectives of the humanities and social sciences, it examines processes of individual creativity and of communication in diverse social and cultural settings using ethnographic, literary, historical, and cultural studies methods. Related subjects inlcude anthropology, humanities, social sciences, ethnomusicology and others.
