E-Reserves Retirement Notice
Beginning in May, E-reserves services will transition to Oncourse
and the E-Reserves software will be retired.
While the E-Reserve software will no longer be available after May 2013, faculty will be able to access the files of their E-Reserve archive for the duration of the 2013 summer session. This will allow faculty and instructors to move the files from their E-Reserve archive to Oncourse. Faculty and instructors can add new items to an Oncourse site and link to electronic copies of articles via the Libraries' website. One of the fastest options for linking resources is through the IU Libraries' OneSearch@IU by using the "Import to Oncourse" button.
Faculty and instructors may also request articles that are available only in print via the Request Article Delivery service, which will provide scanned copies via e-mail.
The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning is offering two spring workshops to help faculty with the transition. In addition, library staff who have supported E-Reserves will be available to assist faculty in transferring their files to Oncourse.
