Paid Internship

Guidelines for Students Seeking an Internship Position (non-ILS Students)

Media and Reserve Services, Herman B Wells Library

Paid interns will complete a project that requires 5-10 hours a week.

Examples of appropriate projects include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop a film series based on your interest(s)
  • Design a promotional display for the Wells Library Lobby
  • Develop a LibGuide for research on a specific genre, topic, or director
  • Write an article for the Indiana Daily Student (IDS) newspaper
  • Create a Blog related to film entertainment or gaming
  • Create a promotional YouTube or DVD to highlight the Media collection
  • Write film reviews for the M&RS library webpage.

You may also consider a paid internship for course credit. Course credit for internships is an option which requires faculty sponsorship within an academic department or school (with the exception of ILS students). ILS students should contact Monique Threatt at for more information.
