The Chemistry Library offers access to many thousands of electronic books.
The list below is not a complete list of titles but more of a sampling of important and/or representative titles. Most e-books are listed in IUCAT, with the exception of the most recently published titles. To find the latest, we recommend searching the publishers' websites listed below. Searching the publishers' websites is also a way to identify chapters or sections that are not indexed in IUCAT.

Springer
The IUB libraries have access to Springer e-books from 2005-2013. The best way to find these titles and to identify the most recently added titles is to search SpringerLink. Once you enter relevant keyword(s) in the search box, you can limit your search by selecting "books" or "book chapters" from the "content type" limits on the left-hand side of the search results page. Springer publishes lots of handbooks and series such as Topics in Current Chemistry or Structure & Bonding. (Note: pre-2005 print volumes are at QD461.S92.)
You can also visit IU's MyiLibrary for Springer titles.
Wiley
IU libraries (system-wide) have access to Wiley e-books from 2007-2010. Wiley titles from other years that were purchased individually are listed below or in IUCAT.
Elsevier
The IUB libraries have access to Elsevier titles from 2008-2013. The latest tiltes might not yet be listed in IUCAT. Another way to see a list of these titles is to go to the website, click on "Browse" in the upper left corner and then click the boxes so "Full-text available" and "All books" are the only ones checked. After you click on "Apply" you will just see e-books we have access to. It is possible to limit to subscribed e-books with "Search" too. A few others purchased outside of this agreement are listed below and in IUCAT.
Royal Society of Chemistry
The IUB libraries have access to RSC e-books from 1968-2011, and to the ACS Symposium Series Archives, which contain all ACS Symposium Series titles from 1978 to 2008 as well as the full Advances in Chemistry Series from 1950 to 1998.
eBrary
The IUB libraries also offer access to eBrary electronic books.
HathiTrust
HathiTrust makes the digitized collections of some of the nation’s great research libraries available for all. Hathi Trust Digital Library provides full text searching across the more than 1.6 billion pages (4.6 million volumes) in its collections but displaying the full-text for post-1922 publication dates is limited. To search for a book or journal title, under “Catalog Search” enter title, select “Title” and click on “Find.” You may limit your search to “Full view only.” You must login to download the entire PDF file from a book or journal.
