WorldCat -- a "super-catalog" containing library materials from most of the major libraries in the US. Powerful and flexible search engine can also be used to search IU's library collections. Items not at IU can be requested via Inter Library Loan with one click.

Academic Search (EBSCO) -- interdisciplinary database of popular magazines as well as scholarly and scientific journals (results are sorted into type of article). Mostly fulltext.

Web of Knowledge -- interdisciplinary database of scholarly and scientific research. Use to find artcles in journals. Click on IU-Link button for access to fulltext, if available, or to find hard copy. 

Historical Abstracts and America: History & Life -- search together or separately to find articles in history journals.

PAIS International -- for articles about public policy, public administration, law, politics and government

EconLit -- for articles on economics, economic aspects of public policy
