• Reference We answer several queries per week from interested researchers worldwide, in person or via phone, email, or mail.
  
  
• Bibliographic instruction We invite Indiana University faculty and AIs to consult the folklore librarian for customized classes, tours, workshops or handouts for classes. 
  
  
• MLA Folklore Bibliography Since 1989, this project has been based in the Folklore Collection. Relying on our serial holdings, the project produces one-third of the entries in the folklore volume of the MLA Bibliography. This project is funded by Indiana University, the Modern Language Association, and the American Folklore Society.
  
  
• Publications: Recent Acquisitions in Folklore; Indiana Folklore Dissertations, Journals & Monographic Series in the Folklore Collection.
