Conditions and Politics in Occupied Western Europe is a collection of searchable original reports and documents from the British Foreign Office records, class F.O. 371 in the National Archives.
"The collection includes detailed information indexed by year and section, from the occupied states of Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and the Vatican, and the neutral countries – Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland."
Items include newspaper articles but primarily intelligence reports, material such as political intelligence summaries, regular press surveys, estimates of the political situation, and reports on Economic and social conditions.
There are also browseable indexes of persons, document types, senior officials, organizations, languages, and FO File numbers and a searchable chronology.
