American History in Video provides a collection of documentaries, newsreels and archival and public affairs footage. The documentaries are often commercial products, like A & E's "Biography", and cover all eras of American history. Includes is the full run of newsreels from United Newsreel and Universal Newsreel from 1929 through 1967.
