ARTFL (American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Langueage) contains the complete text of works used to create the dictionary, Tresor de la Langue Francaise. Includes novels, articles, essays, letters and verse from the Middle Ages to the present. Subjects covered: literary criticism, philosophy, economics, history and biology. Additonal materials in ARTFL: French Women Writers, Provencal poetry, the Encyclopedie Project, and various dictionaries. The main ARTFL database is also known and FRANTEXT.
