The database provides access to online findings aids, the detailed collection guides or inventories that describe where an archival collection came from, how it is arranged, and what it contains. Also included are catalog records describing archival and mixed-materials collections in the RLIN AMC database, and both the catalog records and detailed collection guides can provide links to digitized archival materials themselves.
