To start searching for Visionet articles, type in a keyword in the middle search box, and make sure that you select “Visionet Articles” from the drop-down menu in the search box on the right, or else you will retrieve books as well as articles and other items. Whenever you get lost, just click “Home” at the very top right hand side on the green background, or click “catalog home,” depending on the available menu. You will learn how to use the other search options as you gain more experience searching. For example, on the LEFT hand side there is an advanced search menu that allows you to combine terms, as well as specify certain years.
The options under "My Library" are mostly for the onsite users from the Southern College of Optometry. If you need help with these options please see one of the staff in the Indiana University Optometry Library.
