The Bibliography of Arabic Books Online is a continuing project which currently (2011) contains over 60,000 bibliographic records of books published in Arabic before 1960. The records are drawn from the collections of the National Libray of Egypt, the British Library, the Library of Congress and other participating libraries. It is expected the BABO will eventually contain more than 80,000 items. BABO may be searched in English, transliterated Arabic and Arabic script.
