The database corresponds to the print Index to Theses with Abstracts Accepted by the Universities of Great Britain and Ireland (title varies) which which began in 1950.
The Index includes abstracts for most, although not all, theses from 1986 to the present.
There are four search options. "Simple" gives the greatest flexibility and clarity.
