Getting help

We have created many online help documents available via the Indiana University Knowledge Base and the Music Library Tutorials site. In addition, manuals for many of the applications are available in the library's open reserve room on the first floor.

NOTE: Trained computer consultants are available on the 1st and 3rd floors to assist with general computing questions and more-specific software issues. Contact the Music Library Computing Staff at mltech (at) indiana (dot)edu for help with music applications or Variations 2.  For additional help, visit the M.L.I.T. lab in room 383 (on the 3rd floor) for walk-in assistance during the following hours:

To schedule an appointment, send e-mail to mltech (at) indiana (dot) edu

Staff at the reference and circulation desks on the first floor are able to assist with general library information and loaning issues.

Locally-written help documents

NOTE: You may print any of these documents by selecting "Print" from the File menu in a web browser when viewing the document.

KORG Triton Keyboards

  • Tutorials can be found here, providing an introductory guide to using the Triton keyboards in the Music Library, including links to more advanced guides. There are also hard copies of the Triton manual on each floor and in the closed reserves.

Reporting problems

  • All problems with software or hardware should be directed to the STC Consultant working on the floor.
