Data: High-use sources (GIMSS)
High-Use Statistical Data Sources
Here is a basic list of high use statistical data sources that are frequently invoked by statistical data searchers and data service personnel at Indiana University. These data sources primarily consist of electronic data files, along with a handful of important print documents. Most of the data sources in print, microfiche or microfilm formats are either available in the GIMSS reference area for in-library use or available on GIMSS stacks for circulation. Electronic data files are usually computer-readable and easy to manipulate; most are accessible on the Internet through the links below, although some are only available in our CD-ROM/DVD collections.
