TXT A LBRN

07/19/2012

Smartphone screen showing text conversation with IUB Libraries

“Does the library have a copy of the book I need?”

“Is the Education Library open right now?”

“I’m lost in the Wells Library – where can I find the Folklore Collection?”

You have questions, and the Libraries have answers. But did you know that you can get those answers on-the-go by texting a librarian? It’s true! You can send us text messages from any text-enabled mobile device (your carrier’s standard charges may apply) and get a quick response from IU librarians. We’re available during the normal hours for the Wells Library (East Tower) – but if you text us after hours, we’ll get your message as soon as we reopen, and we’ll respond to you at that time.

Give it a try – text (812)671-0275!
