Wells Library Closed on Saturday, August 13 -
The Herman B Wells Library will be closed and all doors to the
building will be locked on Saturday, August 13th, from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. due to a planned water outage. The IU Physical Plant will

Extinct Woodpecker Sighted...at Lilly Library - Conservationists last week reported rediscovering the ivory-billed
woodpecker, a distinctive black and white bird last seen in
1944. Spotted in the Big Woods region of Arkansas, the bird
