Reduced Library Hours May 5-7

Summer hours for libraries on the IUB campus will begin on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Please see Libraries & Hours for more information on summer hours.

 

Most libraries will have reduced hours and some will be closed Saturday, May 5 through Monday, May 7. On May 7 the IUB Libraries will be holding an In-house Institute, which is a day of professional development for their staff. It is an exciting way for their employees to work together in collaborative ways by offering sessions prepared, led, and attended by all levels of Libraries staff. In order to allow all employees to participate, most libraries will have special hours. They are as follows:

Open 8:00-5:00

Herman B Wells Library, West Tower, floors 2-5

Lilly Library

 

Open 9:00-5:00

Chemistry Library

 

Open 1:00-5:00

Herman B Wells Library, East Tower

Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center Library

Optometry Library

 

Closed

Auxiliary Library Facility (ALF)

Business/SPEA Information Commons

E. Lingle Craig Preservation Laboratory

Fine Arts Library

Geosciences Library

Office of University Archives and Records Management

Swain Hall Library

William & Gayle Cook Music Library

 

Open 24/7

The Information Commons (Wells Library, first floor of the West Tower) will remain open 24/7.

 

 

The following services are available outside of library hours:

 

Renew Materials or Check Your Account: Available online via IUCAT

Recalls, Request Delivery, Request Article Delivery, Request from ALF, Interlibrary Loan, Rush Cataloging Request: Requests can be placed online but will not be processed until the afternoon of May 7 or the morning of May 8.
