IU Libraries and UITS Host Code4Lib 2011
01/31/2011
The IU Libraries and UITS will host this year's Code4Lib 2011 Conference in Bloomington, IN on February 8-10, 2011 in the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU). We are indebted to the members of the local organizing, program, and voting committees for their tireless planning efforts.
As this year's conference hosts, the Indiana University Libraries
and University Information Technology Services (UITS) are
bringing together a wide-ranging group of developers from
academia, the information industry, and public libraries and have
national and international participants lined up for a truly
exciting program (see the schedule at http://www.indiana.edu/~uits/code4lib/program/conference.php).
Together, we hope to deliver not only an excellent technical
program, but also a pervasive social program that brings the
developer community for libraries together in new ways. We extend
a warm welcome to all of our visitors to the Bloomington campus.
Code4lib Conference is an annual international
un-conference, loosely structured for library technologists
to commune, gather/create/share ideas and software, be inspired,
and forge new collaborations. For more information, see http://code4lib.org/conference.
