News & Events
Join us for Congress Week from Sept 13-17!
09/13/2010
All the events encourage us to think about the role of citizens in a democracy. As a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, the state of our government and society is determined by the will of the people, either through their conscious participation and engagement, or by their lack of action, apathy, and fatalism.
Be sure to visit the Wells Library Congress Week Exhibit, Main Street to Capitol Hill: Connecting to Congress, from September 6th-October 8th, 2010. It can be found at the entrance to Government Information and Kent Cooper Services (at the top of the escalators from the main lobby).
