Remember More, Print Less Events

As part of the 2010 IUB Campus Energy Challenge, IU Libraries will have a series of events in which students will learn ways in which to print less. Join in for one, some, or all of the events!

 

Show off your support of Mother Earth and your mad memory skills at the Wells Library, "Remember More, Print Less Recitation".

 

Participants should perform a recitation of:

     -A poem or essay excerpt under 4 minutes in length

     -whose subject is related to nature, conservation or sustainability.

 

Join us on the South Lawn of the Wells Library April 20th at 2:00 p.m.

 

If we are experiencing April Showers, you'll find us in Wells Library Room E174.

Sustainable Scholarship 101: Print Less, Go Green! Workshop Series 
 
How can you be more organized and improve your productivity all while using less paper? Come to library-sponsored workshops in April and learn about applications and techniques you can use to help you study, stay on task,  and be a sustainable scholar.
 
Friday, April 2, E174 3:30-4:30 – Study Smarter: Improve your Memory   Learn tips to remember or memorize important information that can help you study smarter and test better. Useful tips will help take the stress out of finals.  

 

Thursday, April 8, W302 3:00-4:00 – Note Taking Made Easy: Evernote & other online applications
How can you take more notes and use less paper? Take your notes online with applications such as Evernote. This workshop will introduce you to applications that allow you to take notes online. The workshop will focus on Evernote and ZohoNotebook.

 

Wednesday, April 14 , W302 9:30-10:30 –  Get Organized with Microsoft OneNote 
Free yourself from paper-based systems.  Use the this digital notebook to gather your notes and information, search to find what you are looking for quickly, and share information so you can manage information overload and work together more effectively.

(Education Library workshops are limited to 6 people. Registration is encouraged, but not required. To register, send an email to libeduc@indiana.edu
