View to the west from the rooftop of the Wells Library, East Tower.

Work will begin next week to replace the deteriorating roof of the Herman B Wells Library.  

*  On Monday, May 4, a portion of the Wells Library parking lot will be closed to accommodate material that will be stored in a fenced area of the lot. 

*  On Monday, May 11, Tenth Street west of Jordan Avenue will be reduced to one lane from 7:00 a.m.. to approximately 2:00 p.m. to allow for a crane to set up for the project.

*  On Tuesday, May 12, the contractor will begin removing the rock ballast from the East Tower roof.  The removal process is very noisy.
