Higher Education's Critical Role in Creating a Healthy, Just and Sustainable Society

Anthony Cortese is President of Second Nature, a non-profit organization advocating for “sustainable learning and practice in higher education.” Additionally, he is the co-director of the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment, and co-founder of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and the Higher Education Association Sustainability Consortium. His lecture during Earth Week will focus on strategies for moving IUB forward as a leader in campus sustainability efforts.
