Dava Sobel will present a talk on "The Quest for Longitude" at the Lilly Library on Friday, December 7, at 4 p.m.

Sobel is author of the best-selling book Longitude which was named Book of the Year in England and was adapted for the PBS "Nova" program "Lost at Sea- The Search for Longitude." The talk is in conjunction with the current exhibition at the Lilly Library, "Keeping Time: Books on Clocks and Time." The talk is free and open to the public.
