Borrow a Laptop, Video Camera, and More!

Study in comfort, rent a movie, or shoot your own film;
it's all here at the Wells Library!
Borrow a laptop and write and research where you
want. Laptops are
available for check out at the Information Commons
circulation desk, located on the first floor in the west tower of
the Wells Library. Machines are equipped to connect to IU
wireless network and can be borrowed in four hour
increments.
Want to rent a movie, but short on cash? The
media
browsing collection in the Kent Cooper Room, located
on the ground floor of the Wells Library, provides free borrowing
access to over 9,000 DVDs and videos from documentaries to
feature films to television series.
Check out a digital
video camera and make your
own film. Video cameras are available for check out
at the Kent Cooper Room in 48 hour increments.
Need some inspiration? As part of the first annual
"Celebrate IU Week," IU is hosting a video contest for you
to show us why you love IU. The grand prize includes
tickets for the Homecoming Concert with Bob Dylan, Elvis
Costello, and Amos Lee. Hurry, the deadline to submit a
video is Friday, October 12.
