In memory of John Strejan, the legendary paper engineer who died in March, the Lilly Library presents an exhibition of pop-up books designed by Strejan and others. The exhibition, on display now in the Lilly Library lounge, includes works by Lothar Meggendorfer, who is credited with creating the modern pop-up tradition in the nineteenth century, and by modern pop-up master Robert Sabuda.
