Celebrate GIS Day Wednesday, November 15

Come discover how geography makes a difference in our lives
at GIS Day 2006, a global event for users of Geographic
Information Systems technology held in the Herman B Wells Library
main lobby from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15. All
day there will be games, free give-aways, vendor booths, lectures,
and demonstrations. At noon, Indiana State Senator David Ford will
speak on "A Vision for Future Applications of GIS." Senator Ford's
address will also be broadcast live by Web cast. Admission to all
events is free.
