Lee Hamilton To Give Talk at Public Library

A Public Talk by Lee Hamilton
The Honorable Lee H. Hamilton will give a free public talk entitled "American Foreign Policy and You" at the Monroe County Public Library on Monday, March 27, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Lee Hamilton, U.S. Representative of Indiana's Ninth District from 1965-1998, will explore current topics in American foreign policy and answer audience questions.
Widely recognized for his expertise in foreign affairs, Hamilton served on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs for nearly his entire legislative career. He was also vice-chairman of the 9/11 Commission. As director of the Center on Congress at Indiana University, he is committed to improving broad public understanding of the U.S. Congress.
The free public event coincides with an exhibition of Hamilton's congressional papers on display at the Lilly Library.

Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Location: Monroe County Public Library Auditorium, 303 E. Kirkwood Avenue
In addition to parking at the library, there is a garage at 7th and Walnut Streets.
This event is free and open to the public.
