See Wylie House by Candlelight
12/03/2008
Located at 307 E. 2nd Street, Wylie House was built by Andrew Wylie in 1835. Indiana University owns and operates it as a historic house museum recreating the house during the 1840s.
Wylie House contains an outstanding collection of early to mid-19th century American furnishings, including many Wylie family artifacts. A large collection of Wylie family letters and personal papers are housed in University Archives.
An informal concert by the Bloomington Mandoliners follows the open house and begins at 8:30 p.m.
