Pop-Up Books Not Just for Children

Explore the fascinating world of pop-up and movable books at the Lilly Library. "Not Just for Children" is the summer exhibition which presents the history of movable books from the 15th to the 21st centuries. The exhibition, which will be on display through August 27, features early children’s books including those by Ernest Nister and Lothar Meggendorfer, the work of several modern paper engineers, miniature pop-up books, and artists’ books.
The Lilly Library is located on Seventh Street south of Showalter Fountain.
Summer hours:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Tours are available each Friday at 2:00 p.m. or by arrangement.
