Use Online Music Database
02/14/2005
DRAM, a project developed by New York University and New World Records, lets you research and stream on-demand, American music - including classical, jazz, folk, Native American, musical theater, opera, electronic, experimental, et al - not usually available from commercial sources.
DRAM includes over 1,200 CDs from the catalogues of record labels such as New World Records, CRI, Albany, innova Recordings, Cedille, Pogus, Deep Listening, XI, and Mutable Music. More labels are expected to join soon. You can make playlists for yourself or share them online with classmates, colleagues, and friends. The system also has complete liner notes, discographies, bibliographies, and historical essays.
To Access DRAM, go to: http://dram.nyu.edu
On the lower left of the screen, click "Login".
You will be redirected to a website at NYU.
Once there, select Indiana University from the drop-down menu in the center of the screen.
You will then be taken to the familiar IU Central Authentication Service login screen.
