La Fin du monde: film?e par l'Ange N.D. by Blaise Cendrars and Fernand L?ger (Paris: ?ditions de la Sir?ne, 1919)
The last 125 years have been marked by exceptionally rich collaborations linking together poets, painters, printers, and publishers. Such collaborations have produced books that are not merely works of considerable visual beauty and intellectual interest but that also pose particular challenges in terms of reading. A wide selection of such artists' (or dialogue) books, some tiny, some huge, some bound, some in unbound signatures, some in the form of accordions, will be on view through December.
When: September 15 - December 20, 2004
