IU Libraries' orientation activities introduce students to the Main Library and its services.

Main Library Guided Tours

Guided tours of the Main Library include a hands-on introduction to the Libraries’ Web site and IUCAT, the IU Libraries' catalog. Tours start in the Main Library lobby and last about 30 minutes. No registration required.

-- Friday, August 27: 1 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m.*, 1:45 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3 p.m.*

-- Wednesday, September 1: 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

-- Thursday, September 2: 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Main Library Open House

This is a fun and informal way to explore the Main Library on your own or with experienced guides. Learn about resources and services to help you succeed at IU.
