Renovations are under way at the Lilly Library. The updates will add ramps to the front entrance and an accessible restroom, making the building accessible to people with disabilities.

Visitors and staff members primarily will continue to enter the building through the front. There will be a fence around the construction area, with an entry path to the building clearly marked. This entry way will shift as the work progresses.

There will be at least two periods of one to three days each when the front entrance of the Lilly will be closed. Staff and visitors will use the rear entrance during these times. More specific information about this will be posted as it becomes available.

It is also possible that the Lilly may close to visitors for a short time. If closing becomes necessary, the exact dates will be publicized as soon as possible.

This renovation, which is expected to go through October, is a major project, with attendant disruption and noise.
