Core Resources for Undergraduate Research in Classical Studies

This list was compiled by the faculty in Classical Studies, with assistance from faculty in Religious Studies and Art History and from Rebecca Edwards and Nancy Boerner, previously Librarian for Classical Studies.  Many resources for work in Classical Studies are not online, and it is hoped that this listing which includes the most useful print materials will be of help to students wishing to do careful research.  Note: This list is under revision.

Tables of Contents of Journals of Interest to Classicists (TOCS-IN).   TOCS-IN provides the tables of contents of a selection of journals for Classics, Near Eastern Studies, and Religion, beginning in 1992.  It now contains about 185 journals.  Where possible, links are given to articles of which the full text or an abstract is available online.  Some collections of articles (e.g., Festschriften) are also included.
