Work Order (ALF)

A paper work order is filled out for every batch of book trays that is accessioned into the ALF.  The work order lists the owning library, all of the tray numbers in the batch, the number of items in each tray, the location of each tray, the date each step of the process was completed, and the name of the employee responsible for each step.  This process provides additional safeguards in the accessioning process, and supplies a hardcopy backup for the information in the LAS (Library Archival System) software.
