Recommended Web sites
Good collections of links, as well as online versions of primary texts. For best results, try these pages for broader subjects and save Google for very specific keyword searches (a specific individual, the title of a medieval work, etc.--don't forget to put phrases in quotes).
Pay close attention to the sources of any information you find on the web. There are lots of hobby sites on "medieval" topics that are fun to browse, but may or may not be reliable sources.
