Chemistry Software Downloads and Databases

IU-Bloomington Users:

The CrossFire Commander (Beilstein and Gmelin), SciFinder Scholar, and Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) programs are available on computers in the IUB libraries and in the Student Technology Center computer labs (STC labs).  First log on with your password and follow the path: Start, Programs, Departmentally Sponsored, Chemistry then choose the program you wish to use.  To use the CrossFire and SciFinder Scholar programs in your lab, office or from home please see download instructions below.  Please contact the Chemistry Library for instructions on downloading the Cambridge Structural Database program (or the Inorganic Crystallographic Database). In addition to the CSD client version a web version (WebCSD) is available to IUB users at http://webcsd.ccdc.cam.ac.uk.
