Directions and Map (E. Lingle Craig Preservation Laboratory)

The E. Lingle Craig Preservation Lab is not generally open to the public, but gives frequent tours and workshops. For more information, please contact the Head of the Preservation Lab, Gordon Lynn Hufford.

Directions to the Craig Preservation Laboratory (851 North Range Road; Bloomington, IN 47408):

From the IUB Campus: Travel East on 10th street towards the IN 45/46 Bypass. Cross over 45/46 and continue to the intersection of 10th street and Range Road (to your left) / Pete Ellis Drive (to your right). Turn left onto Range Road and follow the road as it curves to the left (east), ending at the Craig Lab and ALF. C parking is available in front of the lab, E parking in the gravel lot behind the building, and open parking is in the cul-de-sac at the end of Range Road.

Entry Instructions:

Step in through the front doors into the vestibule. On the east wall, the left side as you face into the lab, there is a phone to ring into the work areas. Press Line 2 (the middle button on the phone) to ring into the lab. A staff member will meet you at the door. Bags and other personal items are not allowed in the Craig Lab, but may be stored in the lockers in the entryway, free of charge.
