Instructional Services for K-12 Visitors

Welcome K-12 Community Visitors
Whether you're a teacher or school media specialist, we look forward to working with you to fulfill your students' research needs.  The Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) Herman B Wells Library offers a variety of instruction options to the school community.
  • For instructors involved in the Advance College Project (ACP) programs, we offer course integrated library instruction in the IUB Wells Library. Use the online form to request library instruction for ACP students.

  • For other high school classes or groups wanting to do research at the IUB Wells Library, we will work with your school media specialist to determine the best options for meeting the learning objectives and research needs of the students.  When appropriate, we will work with the school media specialist to supplement the school library resources.

  • We will consult with all teachers about class assignments requiring research, discuss INSPIRE resources, and strategies for incorporating information literacy into assignments.  We will also share our online Instructional Support Materials.  E-mail to request a consultation.
