Articles are found by searching databases. IUB Libraries have subscriptions to databases that will either take you to citations for journal articles (articles that are in print journals) or articles that are fulltext online.

International Index to Black Periodicals Full Text
Contains full text coverage of 24 Black Studies periodicals from 1998-present, as well as current and retrospective abstracts from over 150 scholarly journals and newspapers.

Online version of award-winning Grove Dictionary of Art contains the fulltext of all 41,000 articles of the 34-volume print edition, including scholarly bibliographies.
