  • AccessScience - This encyclopedia includes over 7100 articles in 81 major areas of science and technology.
  • CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics - CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics provides a wide range of physical constants for over 12,000 of the most common chemical substances.
  • A Dictionary of Chemistry from Oxford Reference.
  • e-EROS (Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis) - e-EROS provides information on reagents and methods. It is fully searchable by structure and substructure, reagent, reaction type, experimental conditions etc. The entry highlights the various uses and characteristics of each reagent, with illustrative examples of its use. e-EROS also has information concerning physical data, solubility, form supplied in, purification, and, where relevant, preparative methods.
  • Electrochemistry Encyclopedia - Contains articles with a popular-science tone (browsable by subject and author) on various electrochemical topics, including spedific reactions and chemicals as well as topics such as electrolytic metal production, educational experiments, and electric eels.
  • Encyclopedia of Biological Chemistry
  • Encyclopedia of Life Sciences - ELS was launched in April 2001 and contains over 3,000 articles in the life sciences broadly defined. The glossary contains over 7,000 terms. In September 2005 the Encyclopedia of the Human Genome was integrated into ELS online.
  • Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology - Provides in-depth articles with extensive bibliographies about applied chemistry, industrial products, chemical substances either as single substance or group, materials science, and chemical fundamentals.
  • Oxford Dictionary of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
  • Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook
