Indiana Soil Surveys at IUB 1899-1990

Indiana University Libraries have received copies of soil surveys through the Federal Depository Library Program, acquisition of early annual reports from Indiana's Geology Division of the Department of Conservation, and as gifts from various sources. Most of the soil surveys are housed in IUB's Auxiliary Library Facility and may be requested for use through IUCAT. Many soil maps are held separately and housed in the Maps area of the Wells Library (East Tower 2). Indiana soil surveys and maps are also held in the Geosciences Library. The list below is preliminary and will be revised as additional maps and copies are identified. It is arranged alphabetically by county. Links to electronic copies of a few maps are provided as examples.
